DML or Dana Mitra Lingkungan is a Foundation (or Yayasan, in Indonesian languange), literally can be translated Environmental Partnership Fund, when it its establishment in 1983 it was aimed to mobilize domestic funding from local businesses and “the captain of the industry” to support the emerging environmental organizations in Indonesia at that time.

Currently DML has positioned itself on the current environmental challenges in more focused areas of climate change and its impacts to urban regions, although we understand that by ecological principles there is no such exclusivity of environmental issues, so it is more to help for developing a working agenda.
